What is it, though? The second thing? It looks like it could be some sort of drug paraphernalia, but the tea makes me doubt it….

haha. that’s hysterical. it is a tea tube. you scoop the tea with the scoop side (the loose leaf kind, but the long strands tend to get a little stuck at top) and then let it fall to the bottom and put in your mug. The taste, not the leaves, comes out the small holes at the bottom. The bottom comes out for rinsing thouroughly…!! f-er i tried to respell that eight times. i give up.
